Multimedia Portrait Class 6 weeks

Whether you are a practiced artist or just a beginner, we will explore different art mediums in each Portrait class. The course will run for 12 classes consisting of 2 hours each. I’ll teach you how I see and tackle a portrait, a face. We’ll warm up with some exercises which work for me, and then move into one longer portrait per class, so you can start and finish a portrait each class. Here is a list of the Art Mediums we will work with for those 6 Weeks. We talk about the different materials each class. Day 1 Pencil Day 2 Coloured Pencil Day 3 Ballpoint pen (biro) Day 4 Pen & Ink Day 5 Oil Pastels Day 6 Wax Pastels Day 7 Watercolour Day 8 Watercolour Day 9 Gouache Day 10 Gouache & mixed media Day 11 Acrylics Day 12 Acrylics & mixed media MATERIALS NEEDED : All the above, or use what you have which is similar to the mediums above. Sketchbook paper and Mixed Media or Watercolour paper. I use cold pressed watercolour paper for watercolours and Hot press paper for Gouache and Acrylics… but you can use what you have. (Even gesso on heavy cardstock or cardboard for Gouache and Acrylics will do. REMINDERS : CLASSES are in Canadian $. 🌟. The class is recorded and you will see some of the participants who came to the live class. 🌟. I teach to ALL skill levels. No one is judging...everyone is at different points in their Art Journey.
